Everything you need to know before your first class. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Get in touch.

Not at all. Most of our members started with zero experience. Our coaches will guide you through everything from day one and make sure you feel comfortable before any live training begins.

Just comfortable sports or gym clothing — a t-shirt and shorts or joggers. You do not need a gi for your first session. We will let you know what to get once you decide to join.

No. Your first session is about getting comfortable on the mats, learning a few basic movements and meeting the team. Sparring is introduced gradually and only when you feel ready.

You do not need to be fit to start. Jiu Jitsu will get you fit. Come as you are and let the training do the work.

After your free week, one of our coaches will talk you through membership options. There is no hard sell — if it is right for you, great. If you need more time, that is fine too.

Yes. We have programmes for ages 3 and above. Tots Warriors for ages 3–6, Kids BJJ for 6+, and a dedicated teens class for 10+. All children are supervised by experienced coaches in a safe, structured environment.

Two to three times a week is ideal for most beginners. Consistency matters more than frequency — showing up regularly is what drives progress.
